Nox had hoped a successful alchemy business would mark the end of his financial troubles.
He couldn't be more wrong.
City taxes, labor and material costs, and his competitors now threaten to do what cultists and his step families failed to do—cripple him. Mysterious and concerning dreams also plague his nights as he struggles to stay afloat.
But all hope is not lost!
A fungal plague threatens the continent's residents and the farmland that feeds them. Nox believes, he has the key to saving them and turning the blight into a boon and source of profit. Money is as important as magic to accomplish his goals, and saving the world might just win him the final tool for victory: political influence.
Continue on Nox's journey from Novice to Archmage in this Arcane Academy LitRPG series from J Pal, bestselling author of The Houndsman and They Called Me Mad.
It features a unique magic system which involves cultivating a solar system in one's core, Detailed spell crafting and alchemy, Dungeon diving, arcane archery, a magic university setting and so much more.

Great series

Plus, there are sometimes things that either I missed or they come completely out of the blue like the character inventing a potion for male enhancement (no idea how it does that either). There are also a lot of irons in the fire and they seem to be abandoned for a while and then just picked up and accomplished or, worse, advanced a tiny bit and then put back down. Basically, I just felt the progression both narratively and in character growth felt sloppy and thus unsatisfying. Maybe better plotting would help, as I think the author wrote vaguely in an attempt to not paint himself into a wall and the result was a bit sloppy.
Honestly, it's still pretty good. It's okay. There's just a lot of stuff that's very good, great, or spectacular. If I'd rather reread a great series than listen to your pretty good one, then that's a problem. Still, pretty good can find an audience and I won't fault anyone for liking this. There's so much to like that I put off my issues for a long while.
Sloppy Progression

Go grab the audiobook Eric Jason Martin’s voice is perfect. Besides it's an academy book, I know you love those too! ❤
Here's a quote that amused me:
“I’ve heard the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else,”
What happens when an academy, a slice-of-life, and a delve have a chimera
