BASIC.

Very basic information and cringe-worthy performance- mispronounced words and awkward pauses/inflections. I imagine the narrator slowly dragging his finger under every word as he tries to annunciate properly. This book could benefit a lifelong couch potato with limited knowledge of human movement and food.

So so info, horrible narrator.

The information in the book about diet and exercise is standard, off-the-shelf stuff- you can get all the same info on any .gov or AARP website. Lengthy, boring descriptions of how to perform stretches or body-weight exercises, average diet recommendations you find in any healthy living article. Nothing special or groundbreaking about life after 50.
What made the book unbearable was the narator- his pronunciation and inflection definitely match his Italian name, and I felt like he was getting paid a bonus to get through the book as fast as possible. I guess based on the unremarkable info in the book, that wasn't such a bad thing.
