This was such a great medical romance from Chris Zett. A little medical drama, a thawing ice-queen, and great chemistry between MC’s. Plus the narration from Lori Prince is just wonderful.

It was slow and then it started out on trusting each other and it was comical but still riveting at times and we'll worth a listen. i wish they could done maybe 1 more chapter,but it was ok

This was a true love story about finding love and understanding what one really loves and wants from live. Sometimes, it's okay to take a break from your career to continue to live the life you really want. One or two spicy scenes, but the character development was amazing.

This is a perfect follow up of Irregular Heartbeat. Loved the characters and story line of both books. Wish there was more on audible from this author. Narrator was excellent also.

Have a few tissues close by! This is a spicy romance, with wonderful narration, that is very fulfilling, as these women grow in their physical and emotional intimacy throughout this book. The curious thing about them, and humans in general, is our uncanny ability to deny ourselves the thing we want most in life! For these two well-written multi-layered characters, it is a real connection- familial, intimate and committed! Of course the journey to getting there includes overcoming some rude and arrogant behavior by one of our leading ladies and some past trauma by the other.

EVERY NURTURING PERSON SHOULD READ THIS BOOK! It is a great example of how NOT to mess up your life by supplanting all of your own needs for the sake of solving someone else’s problems or trying to make them happy. It is a BEAUTIFUL treatise on how to deal with disparate incomes, backgrounds and resources while navigating a new and equitable relationship!

There are two Mom’s featured in the story who are at opposite ends of the spectrum. How the “real” Mom interacts with our romantic leads in this book is amazing. These women are forged from fire and they shine brightly in their world. Most of all- they learn how to do this without taking light away from each other!

If your heart puts romance and family together. You will LOVE this book! It’s filled with beautiful intimate wisdom!

I wanted to read this for a long time. I love strong female doctor roles...who doesn't? This wasn't what I expected. It was slow to get into and a lot of disecting thoughts and each other. Things in real life that...well we do. But at times I felt it was long winded. Even with that it was very good and sweet. It was a slow burn but it needed to be. I didn't sigh at the end but I was very glad I read it.

Another great story by Chris Zett that has the perfect balance of a slow budding attraction with sweet yet honest moments that morph into steamy love between 2 likable characters. Worth a credit to add to my library permanently.

I got sucked in and got submerged into these characte's lives and struggles. Found myself cheering for them, getting angry at them and laughing with them. Loved it and didn't want the story to end. Well written with a lovely rythum and sharp witty dialogue. Highly recommended!

Jess, a top cardiologist is a woman with a plan but sometimes the best laid plans take us to where we really need to be. Complications from her pregnancy and subsequent birth find her living with her mother and she's not too happy about her circumstances, especially when her anticipated cottage is spoken for. Lena has finally found a place to land that is her sanctuary, until Jess arrives. While we never get to see why Jess carries her rock hard exterior, there is a lot of character development around Lena. Supporting characters from a previous book, along with Jess' mom and the presence of her daughter make this a lovely listen that is a good story with a little therapy built in. Completely enjoyable with some interesting medical pieces and some tai chi/massage/and preserve making added into the mix. For a lesbian romance, it doesn't disappoint.
