About this listen

Pirates pacified. Void vanquished. Peace is a fragile beast.

Felix has survived the tribulations of the Void and returned to the Continent. Civilization, at long last. Yet the city of Haarwatch has a terrible new issue.

The Inquisition has arrived to stamp out sorcery and unnatural monstrosities...and Felix still has the Primordial Maw riding shotgun in his soul. Now, he must find his friends and a way to remove a section of his very essence before everything comes crashing down.

All the while, sinister plots in Haarwatch's center promise dire, bloody consequences for anyone who catches the Inquisition’s eye.

I love this series, especially this book, but whenever I think the MC is finally going to start using even 10% of the crazy amount of potential he has in him he freaking just goes ahead and wastes his power like a child using a magic sword to cut vegetables. He has to wait until he is freaking close to death or in dire straits before he remembers that he has great abilities. He even freaking ignores the greatest ability any one could want for crying out loud - The ability to CONSUME practically anything. Attacks, enemies, creatures, freaking consume them and get rid of them instead of wasting such a great power and leaving it to rust. He's freaking afraid of his own abilities, its no wonder the boy can barely draw out his own potential. I hate seeing MCs wasting their potential, it really itches in the wrong way. Especially a Devouring power.

Great, really but fuck is the MC such a dumb ass

This book was massive it answered a lot of questions I had . Glad to see that this story isn't over with a trilogy can't wait for book four. our MC is getting more and more powerful but so are the enemies

This series has gotten better and better… a fun story with lots of side characters. I’m excited for the next book in the series!

Really Fun Story

Great story and performance and would have rated it all 5 stars if not for the last few hours of the book. It was a never ending fight, blow by blow for hours. .. got so so old and irrelevant to the story it was just added as filler to make the story longer. Repeat .. blow/ comments, repeat.. blah blah blah.. repeat.. blah

Really Like the story and Performance But..

As a seasoned Dungeons & Dragons DM, sword and sorcery hold a special place in my mind's eye.

Blurring the line between High fantasy and horror this series is brutal and fun. Unlike some of the "competition" you get large meaty-sized chunks of storyline per book.

Monolithic world building and a main character I very much enjoy spending time with. I will be anticipating the next title with glee.

Nicoli Gonnella I very much enjoy the tale you have spun. 5 stars 🌟

Yeah I think my most memorable moment was getting into and read this book!

Heck I wouldn't read this book if I didn't like the narrator most of the time I pick books based upon who the narrator is!

The beginning was honestly quite tedious, but the ending is well worth it. I’m honestly really enjoying these books and love the creativity in world building behind it along with the impressive design of powers that is balanced but also very interesting in its own way.

Love this
