awesome book that teaches you negotiation

This book sheds light on a lot of details in negotiation people usually don't pay attention to like the power of questions, how to control emotion, and break an impasse in an negotiation. It also help people overcome the fear to negotiate. It tells people that negotiation is everywhere in our life no matter what you do. Further, it reveals practical strategies in negotiation such as keeping silent, reversing a No to a Yes. Recommend it!

How to have a better conversation

The word "negotiation" has always made me feel nervous. To be honest, I don't think I'm a good negotiator at all, and after reading this book, I could see how I fell short in my previous negotiations. Negotiations happen daily, whether you are asking your significant other if you can have a free night with all your friends, asking a professor if you could hand in an assignment later, asking your boss for a raise etc. These are all part of a negotiation process. Chapter 2 and 3 of this book help me strategically prepare for a negotiation using SWOT and BATNA analysis and teach me how I can ask better questions and frame it in a way that the answer will be in my favor. I'm looking forward to use these techniques for my next salary negotiation.

new approach

concepts that I have heard before , the application of them and the different scenarios make them seem more useful in my every day life, even my 12 years old son try to apply them with me today to get a new video game make me proud) after just eardropping through some parts of it, try to listening to the whole thing at once but found my self stopping my activities to not miss out... so listen to it when I was in breaks...

Finished listening to "Master the Negotiation," and it's a goldmine of negotiation wisdom.
Each chapter is a gem of knowledge. The secrets to overcoming objections and influencing conversations are priceless. It brings to mind a personal story of mine – I once struggled to navigate a tough negotiation with a supplier. Applying the "power of silence" technique, just like in Chapter 6, helped me gain the upper hand, and eventually, we reached a win-win agreement.

The narrator's voice makes complex concepts easy to understand. Highly Recommended!

Such an informative book!

I really appreciated the chapter on asking! I can let people kind of walk all over me, and this was a good reminder to keep the negotiations going, and how to be influential! I'm really thankful I came across this book. I feel that much more secure in the everyday negotiations that I may even have with my children. HA! I am going to resource this book in the future as well, when I come up to moments that require these reminders. Good listen overall!

So much Usefull Information

This book was super informative for me. I feel I am a great negotiator and use alot of these ideas but there were some I did not even think of using. This book will be kept handy so I can review a few pointers at all times.

Always Negotiate

I work in sales and needed some extra impulse to start a better negotiation with my customers due to my ascent. Since I am Hispanic I have some additional difficulty doing this, but this audiobook did not just helped me to secured the sales, but increase my confidence and applied even with my boss, and it worked. All I needed to know

I m so awful at negotiating and this book game me complete idea and has so many tips how to negotiate in simple everyday situations like child care bills, hotel booking and many more. I am Glad I bought this book
