Excellent Insight and Approach for Using the Phone

When we focus on being proactive vs. reactive in sales it can be a game-changer. Alex not only highlights why the phone is important for being proactive but provides the tactics and strategies to get you there.

In addition, he deals with some of the fundamental reasons more salespeople don’t pick up the phone: fear and mindset.
Whether you are new to sales or looking for a refresh Alex offers you the ability to leverage the phone proactively in your sales outreach. This will separate you from the competition and take your sales to the next level.

Good practical sales book

I love self-help books that provide simple and actionable takeaways. This book delivers on that. A must listen for sales teams and managers. The narrator is a bit different, but endearing. You will really enjoy him by the end of the book, but he may catch you off guard at first.

If you put off making calls try this!

Although it's more about B2B selling it makes some great points. Don't put of making those calls any longer.

Repetition

It was very repetitive. It made great points and encouraged me but I had to strain through chapters of repeats on the exact same rides and sentences to get to them.

Alex's book makes you want to pick up the phone...

As a salesperson, I was skeptical about picking up the phone as a method of sales. However, after reading Alex Goldfayn's book "Pick Up The Phone and Sell," I was pleasantly surprised by the practical and actionable tips that he provided. The book is a step-by-step guide on how to effectively reach out to customers and prospects through the phone, leading to an increase in sales. The advice on building relationships and managing objections was particularly useful, and I have already seen a positive impact on my sales numbers since implementing the techniques. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to boost their sales and take their strategy to the next level.

It took some getting use to the style of narration

Overall, the book was good, but the content did seem a little repetitive at times and lacked more substance. The book could’ve been two hours versus four

Terrible book can’t believe it

This audiobook presents itself with the promise of delivering strategies to bolster one’s confidence, particularly in the context of making calls. However, the material fails to meet the expectations for diversity and depth. The content, regrettably, recycles a singular notion across its 24 chapters without providing the anticipated progression or variety in its advice. While the core message could be valuable to some, the delivery would benefit significantly from a more dynamic and multifaceted approach.
