About this listen

Magic, science, and mischief explosively combine in a blast-your-arms-off adventure filled with sphincter-clenching danger. Once again, venture into the mysteries of Madra: The planet stuck on hard mode.

All Jiran wants to do is delve ever deeper into the depths of density and mana—the cornerstones of the magic that permeates his world. Unfortunately, his powers have grown far beyond what anyone could have foreseen. His mentors, unable to shelter him from those who seek to abuse his knowledge, have chosen to flee and whisked him away to the far corner of the empire.

Their efforts are futile, as there are omnipotent forces at play beyond their comprehension. To them, Jiran simply stands out too much, and like the proverbial nail, he’s about to discover that Madra is the mother of all hammers.

Beset on all sides by predators far outside his weight class, and stricken with an ancient malady that both empowers him and counts down to his doom, Jiran will once again have to bend every disadvantage in his favor to survive. But for the only boy willing to blow himself up for science, it might as well be just another day of the week. And what’s a planet to do when every time it kicks an -ERROR- down, it comes back stronger than before? Control him for its own machinations, of course!

As unforeseen events unfold, and all his plans go awry, Jiran is thrown into an adventure beyond his wildest dreams, one filled with far-off lands, new cultures, personal growth, and something or other that’s epic, I assure you.

Don’t miss Jiran as he blasts through this second installment of the wildly popular Density God series. He’ll make new allies and enemies and discover unimaginable secrets buried within him, all while cheerfully blowing the top off his power. Hopefully, before the world of Madra once more throws him bodily into the fire.

better than the reviews give it credit for

not sure why everyone was complaining about the romance and the female lead. she was still incredibly minor to the story and the romance barely existed. The MC also did not simp at all and did his thing just like in the first book.

Does op lead always have to be an idiot

I just can’t understand how a person with basically 35 years of experience is so dumb. Also the need to have a female lead always bossing him around is so frustrating. It’s cool when their equals at the start, but as soon as they become official, all of the sudden it’s always her ideas that take the lead.

Sigh!!!

Book one was excellent, well executed and entertaining. I was really eager to continue Jaron’s journey and now I am dissatisfied. This book was difficult for me to complete because I am so sick of people from earth or with OP KSA being stupid. Moreover, I was pissed that the MC grouped with and annoying, whining and overbearing beast girl that didn’t add anything special to the storyline. The story just felt different once the female beast-kin was introduced and I was bored. I cannot commit to continuing this series because I am disappointed by the storyline, characters introduced, and the world building.

Pretty good not bad at all.

The romantic intrest added in this book is really not bad. I did get slightly sick of it but the book got better towards the end. Maybe we get to find out a bit more on what challenger density is all about in the next book. Book is still interesting so far.

character growth

The Mc still seems too childish for having a lifetime of memories prior but he's at least working on his naivety. main gripe would be him constantly saying how hot the fmc is. I do applaud the story and mechanics which are interesting. took me some time to figure out the time difference. he was gone for a year and his age went from 8 to 15, so 7 years... dog years? 😂 a season would be around 1.75 earth years. I think that's right?

started off good but disappointing

why do writers insist on Adam annoying love interests that are overbearing, main characters in idiot now especially in comparison to how he was in the first book it's like I'm reading a completely different series. was this written by AI is that why the series is different. I really hate the beastkin that was introduced she is beyond annoying I hope she either dies or he leaves her behind.

Great concept.. abysmal execution. Don’t waste your credit or your time.

I spent about 3/4 of the past two books in this series having to explain away every action and interaction, saying that it’s just a book so it’s book logic. From the 500 year old teacher refusing to teach an 8 year old the basics until the 8 year old can tell the teacher the secrets of the world, to a main character that acts 30 years old one minute, and within the exact same paragraph will act 5 years old. From the weakest overpowered main character known to man to the most redundant side characters I’ve ever read about. By about half way through the book I found myself skipping everything that wasn’t absolutely necessary to the story because every interaction and character monologue is garbage. Between the excessive simping, the constant complaining and whining, the main character that has absolutely 0 agency. In addition to allll of that garbage, you take a main character who has 100000000 reasons for his strength, and yet he is inferior to his girlfriend because she’s pretty? Trash.

My gets way dumber

In the first book the MC was realistically intelligent, but in this one he was not. He takes actions that don’t fit his character and instead only serve to create challenges for him to overcome. Sorta screams lazy writing.
