About this listen

WHO AM I?

A devastating dungeon break at his sister’s high school is quickly taken care of by Jinwoo...but not before he confirms that magic beasts no longer register him as a human. What’s more, the deceased Byunggu Min sends him a cryptic warning from beyond the grave: Jinwoo’s powers are more frightening than he knows. Left with too many questions and very few answers, his final hope lies in the key to the Cartenon Temple. Jinwoo’s determined to find out who—or what—he’s become, and to do so, he’s prepared to return to where it all began!

I loved the story and the build up of story and character development throughout Can’t wait for the next volume

Great

I love over powered main character, but there has to be some kind of challenge for them. It might be emotional, internal, social, or even a more overpowered enemy. This book doesn’t have that. It’s basically just a bunch of people gaping in awe at how powerful the main characters

A bit stale

So far this is the best book in the series. I finished it one day. I can’t wait to start re-listening to this book. From start to finish this was amazing.

They really need a new narrator, actually narrators. This story deserves so much. This is just terrible. Narrator actually ruining the story, having to listen to this is awful. If the story wasn’t just so amazing and great I wouldn’t listen at all.

Bad narration for such a Great Story!

I love Solo Leveling, but I hate so the sound effects. Telling readers that the character's heart raced is perfectly adequate, there is no need to add the heartbeat sound effect. I wish the reader would just skip over the growling and constant heartbeat sounds instead of poorly attempt to make the sounds. I can't remember any other audiobooks having constant cringe-worthy sound effects. Is it a Korean literature norm? If so, I'll have to avoid Korean audiobooks that are translated into English. The laughing might be the most annoying. Ha ha ha!

I love the Solo Leveling series and I don't regret purchasing the audiobooks. I do wish the voice actor did less annoying sound effects.

Onomatopoeias are cringe-worthy

I really have enjoyed this book series.

I know a saw a review knocking the sound effects, it makes me laugh and refocuses me to the story.

The anime is great, the book series is even better.

The repetitive sound effects made by the author are jarring and distracting. I don't need to hear Rrrrrrumble being read out, skree for the 100th time, or the humm sound effect.

The sound effects are repetitive and jarring.
