I stopped smoking, it's hard, I'm only on day 2 but I just revert back to the things in the book and it makes it easier to keep going.

my favorite part was when he compared us with Nelson Mandela's day of Freedom.
whereafter he emphasizes the importance of a final sigaret ceremony.
I ran with that, i had created a musical playist with S.African songs like "Freedom is coming" and i danced and danced in celebration of my liberation!
while smoking my final and last one, i calmly said goodbye to this 24 year old ritual....the song playing in my headphone was appropriate and incouraging.
My Ceremony was about gaining rather giving up. i was CHOOSING ME, loving me, moving toward health and self love. Freedom was merely a bonus/reward that i didn't expect!!!!😂😍

Absolutely loved it, I have read the book and when I forgot the rules and relapsed I hear hearing the audio book would help the “old material” feel new, It worked!

The British woman reading it helps it feel like a meditation.

Allen Carr is the only way I've ever been able to happily stop smoking. I stopped successfully once on his program however when I was very drunk had a cigarette and it put me back in the trap. I've stopped again and this time I know it's for life. I'm so happy to see what life brings to me and I'm so glad that I made the right decision. Smoking has zero place in my life.
