Important Tools for an Important Time of Life
There are a lot of great ideas in here ~ some things I'd never heard of before, but glad I have now. This work really covers a lot of ground, giving a great overview "pathways" to get your desired destination of health, especially directed toward women in perimenopause and menopause.
Some of the tools may resonate with you, and some may not, but there is bound to be some great stuff for you. Some you may be new to, but might intrigue you. Positive effects of sound? I didn't know about some of this! Really fascinating.
Overall, West's desire is clearly to help women be all they can be as they journey through a part of life that I imagine can feel pretty disorienting. She does a good job with that.

Vagus nerve: each of the tenth pair of cranial nerves, supplying the heart, lungs, upper digestive tract, and other organs of the chest and abdomen. Very helpful menopause guide
This book is an excellent reference if you're having a tough time with menopause. Lara explains how you can feel better by doing simple things like breathing exercises, moving in certain ways, and even how you touch. She shows how these can help calm your nerves and make you feel less stressed and more clear-headed. There is a lot you can learn from this book including why the Vagus Nerve is so important for feeling good during menopause, as well as foods and activities that can help a lot. This book makes menopause seem not so scary and something you can handle better. I think my mom would find it really useful!
