A must read

If you want to stay committed to eating clean and be reminded why your doing it, you want to read this book.

Lots of good information

I learned a lot from this book concerning food labeling practices. I read ‘Grow a new body by Alberto Villoldo’ and was planning on starting the diet within a week. This book really helped me understand how to read and why to read food/drink nutrition labels. I learned a lot of the food in my house was packed with ingredients I don’t want to consume. Combining these two books will help me as I move forward with going organic I feel will be beneficial.

I agree we are being fed lies by the industry because I’ve followed all the guidelines and I’ve still gained weight and been unhealthy. Following what people are saying about going organic I’ve shed weight and feel better. No more sleeping throughout the day which was caused by sugar overload. Now I know more names for sugar. I will be on the lookout for it in the products I buy. I look forward to the day when food manufacturers are forced to disclose what they put in our food.

As you read this book keep an open mind and remember our media lies to us and tells us how only they can be trusted. Ever look up to see who is funding their ads?

informative

I've been following Vani on IG for over a year now and I really have been more conscientious when it comes to buying and consuming food. Vani's book brings to the surface the corruption of our food. Vani herself narrates the book which when reading other reviews people had issues with it falling flat but she narrates the book how one would regularly read. I think she toned down verbally her passion because she wants to let the reader know the facts and not distract from that.

Eat whole foods and you'll continue to feel better and better... You can't go wrong with healthy living. Just keep trying and support health over sickness and disease...

I thought I knew a lot

I thought I knew a lot about food industry tactics but this taught me so much. I’ll be listening again and again to make sure it all sinks in. Thank you for sharing your research and hard learned lessons.

The Food Industry Revealed!!!

As a former professional organic chef, this was still very eye-opening!!!

Exposes the "secrets" the food industry does not want "us" the consumer to know! This book is worth owning in print as well as on Audible. I love listening as I drive, and having the print version to high-light and make notes in the margin so I can easily refer to the knowledge and share it with friends!

This book has info that will help make your health and your family's health improve, drastically improve!!!

Loved this Book!!

I only recently found out about Vani Hari and her food babe army through Dr. Mark Hyman‘s books. I quickly became a fan! Knowledge is power and I so appreciate her in-depth research so that I don’t have to do it. Just being real here. I feel inspired And empowered after reading the books and have been switching over to organic whenever I can, and really reading labels like I never have before. Mind you I’ve always been a label reader but there are a few ingredients that seemed innocuous and fairly innocent that I now realize are dangerous. Thank you Vani for your tireless work!!

Eye Opening / Worth it

If you haven’t yet read Vani’s blog, I suggest you start there and then dive into her books. Both are helpful and full of eye opening knowledge - she does the research for us by uncovering the horrid truth of the broken food industry. She helped fuel my motivation in KNOWING what I eat and put into my body.
