Solid Book

*I recieved a free copy in exchange for an honest review. *

A solid start to a series. Nice seeing a rouge/assassin class. Since MC is learning, heavy in like a tutorial mode setting in the beginning and then ramps up.

Corny to start

The start is like a really slow rpg. The dialogue is pretty mechanical. It explains a lot of obvious and redundant things. And the MC has absolutely no personality and will of his own. He is more of an NPC then the other people in the atory. Who are very trope-ish.

Great beginning to this series

This book got its hands on me and refused to let go. I could not stop listening. The action, level and RPG elements, and the story itself were fantastic. I cant wait to find out more about this story and I think anyone who's willing to give this book a try and is a fan of the genre will agree.

Matt Hicks and Erin Bateman give a great narration performance.

Slice of life story until the end

So the book starts out with a young man who passes away and gets reincarnated into another persons body. In a world where the system exists and you can level up.
The body that you reincarnate into is actually an assassin a part of a guild and he has so much potential that when the original owner passes away they wanted to revive him and that’s how the main character gets reincarnated into a new world.
Most of the story is a slice of life where he goes around levels up and learn some new skills. On the same hand everything is kind of given to him and he doesn’t ask questions really about the world or about the system so some stuff you really don’t know about. You’re just told that the system is there and not everybody is able to use the system. He doesn’t talk to anybody who doesn’t have the system through the whole book. But towards the end of the book he meets an evil cult who are doing some very horrible things and his guild and other guilds band together to destroy that cult. It just seems like the second book is going to be a lot more interesting. And the first book is just the prelude to the Second book.
I really enjoyed that the main character was easy-going and he had a great outlook on life and was a hard worker. There wasn’t someone egging him on or being difficult towards him. Apparently that’s really popular in books nowadays and I hate that. So that’s why I really enjoyed this book. I’ll be looking forward to the second installment of this book
