About this listen

Lox has made friends and gotten a good start to his new life in WoM.

After spending some time hunting down the remnants of the pirate fleet, Lox is guided by Vannessa down to the Kingdom of Sails. There he gets swept up a quest that will shake this kingdom to its core.

Sailing his ship, the Audacious, Lox embraces a life of the high seas and explores this strange realm nestled in one of the most beautiful and enormous archipelagoes in any world.

All my homies hate the soul point menu

It's a solid litrpg. My only gripe is that the soul point menu is stupidly long. Literally 5+ minutes of repeated text each time they bring it up.

Doubt the author will see this... please no more

Good story, it isn't enough to get me to stop me from listening to this book, and planning to get the next one but every chapter having about 5-8 minutes of the same stat/skill menu you've had etched into your brain from book one wasn't enough. Stats are good, but you can have too much of a good thing... this Author wanted even more than that.

to much time reading stats

the books in this series are great. I enjoy listening to them alot. the part that really irritates me is how much time is spent reading the stats and stuff. I'm 10 chapters in and I've already had to skip past what feels like atleast 30 minutes of just reading the Stat menu, soul menu. and ship menu. it repeats the same thing everytime they are read and they are read in pretty much every chapter. other than that the book is great. keeps me interested in the story and wanting more

Stats

Too much time spent on Stat reviews. Good story, but it's like watching TV with too many commercials.

addicting minus the stats

love this book series but man reading the stats in full adding 1 point into his ship and then reading it all over again is ridiculous, we just heard it all, then spend another 8 mins going over his stats just to add points and then look over the changes

Another Solid book!

This second book went very well in continuing this adventure of Lux! Like from a on land to sea fearing adventure to the undead kingdom like I had no idea where the plot was going and was all for it! Can’t wait for the next book!

The story isn’t bad.

I wish the narrator knew how to say marquis and grimoire. But overall he’s not bad I just can’t stand hearing them mispronounced.

Love it

Great progression. New scenery. No forced plot development. Just a nice flowing story with good surprises.
