I love this series. I blasted through this one in a single day. The ending was a bit.... Forced, but nonetheless enjoyable. I hope there are many more books to come with John Sutton! Michael Kramer killed it - fantastic narration as always.

I love how all the series are tying together. Now I just wonder if John and Thorne will ever meet. Or are the timeliness different.

the story had a good pace to it. Not too slow but not racing through either. Voice acting is still close to top of the list of ones I've listened to. Overall, job well done!

Good Pace

What began as a mostly cozy LitRPG has become a harder-edged Progression Fantasy series. The game elements have mostly been left behind and the actual story is being revealed.

The world is approaching destruction and it's up to John to save what he can. Opposing him are other absurdly powerful forces and the power is finely balanced.

Michael Kramer does his usual excellent job of narration, of course.

This isn't much like the story that began the series, but it is entertaining and I'm looking forward to the next volume.

I just remembered Thorn made a bird and sent it to a kid for some destiny points; I bet that kid is Kavid. Wow, took this book for me to realize how all Mr Rings books are tied together. Cool!

Forge Master Thorn

This book went by way too quickly. The pacing was wonderful with the tie-ins to the endless worlds. The mention of the Forge Master and a particular metal bird made me smile so hard my cheeks hurt. Just when I think this series can't possibly get any better, you prove me wrong. Bravo to both the author and the narrator. Can't wait for the next installment!

I have listened to the Nova Terra and Tower series books to date. I love that they are starting to tie Thorns story into John’s!! Can wait all the next one!!

Wow, Preservation was finally posted in Audible, and Wow it's so good! And the audiobook was seriously worth the wait. Even though it was available in ebook for seemingly evarrr, even bk7 is already available and bk8 is on pre-order! Hence I really have a bone to pick with the powers that be! Ohhhh well that's neither here nor there.
Like I said Preservation was one of the best books I read this year! You'd think that reading about a seriously OP MC would eventually become boring after while, but that's not the case. John can go from diligence farmer to full Battle Mage with a drop of a hat, and because he and his wife Ellie geared up in the last book they're able to hold their own as fight not only against time but other powerful mages as well.
Although I happen to love listening to Michael Kramer narrator of Battle Mage Farmers exploits. I'm seriously not sure that I'll be able to hold back from reading the next book!!! Okay, OK the next audiobook will released in October, we'll see if I can hold out that long. 😆!!!
