About this listen

Big picture, everything was going swimmingly. Little picture wise, an ancient Dragon is now roaming the realm, a country full of martial artists will have to migrate, someone moved one of the moons and permanently altered Eira’s oceans, ruined the teleportation network, shut down city barriers, and caused unimaginable havoc all over the realm. There was also the significantly more real not-too-distant Sun demon, the ever-evolving threat of Krists, wars between nobility, strange weather phenomenon’s, some nonsense involving Poppy, and no matter how much time passed Sylver couldn’t shake the feeling that he had forgotten something.

But, big picture, Edmund was alive, Chrys was mastering her magic, the dark elves had a place to live, Lola had a big project in the works, Sylver made three new friends, Ria made one, and in further good news, Sylver finally managed to get 1,000 undead under his command. At the current rate of one Ibis member per 2 years, on the time scale of an immortal Lich, Sylver was basically done. Hopefully Eira would still be in one single donut shaped piece by the time he was actually done, but that was a separate, small picture, problem.

Book 6 of this Fantasy LitRPG Series about a reincarnated necromancer growing in power and finding his way in a new world where the rules have changed vastly since he last "lived. "

Wrap it up team, we got him!

Honestly I'm just glad Edmond was finally fond, and we got to see Sylver open up more as a person. Hopefully, we don't have to wait through 4 whole books to find the next OG party member. This series continues to be a fun story to experience.

More OP Necromancer goodness!

More powerful toys and nonstop action which got even better after edmound was saved. I like the direction things are developing and can't wait for more insane ibis members to be found. someone write a review chastising Silvers behavior in the story, which made me wonder if they were reading the same series I was. Book 1 you should have know what type of dude this guy was. Can't wait for the next one!

As usual

Well hashed out, dark, comedic, good story progression, and just the right amount of stats, skills, and leveling. Still my favorite series.

Back to form.

I'm glad that the story moved forward from the "search for Edmund " phrase. I was disappointed in the last book because it seemed like the author was just stalling the progression of the story. It was constant set backs with more unnecessary side quests to continue a goal that's three books in the making. Finally we got back to the magic that made this story great and I wasn't disappointed. You get more of the insane, over the top, well thought out, morally questionable, absolutely evil and blood soaked adventures with Sylver that made this story worth recommending.

A bit disappointed

I’ve loved this series so far, but this one was… difficult… to finish. The first half was good, but after he tied up one of his goals he just sort of went a little crazy and went all over the place with what to do next. Then he made some questionable moral choices that I couldn’t agree with at the time. And if you’ve read this far as well, you know that he would have lost a LOT of readers due to his own unique “morals” before now.

The author either got lost with what to do next, or he has some time-travel shenanigans planned in the story outline and is struggling to make it make sense in between arcs.

I will still read the next one, but maybe I won’t put the release date on my calendar like I did for this one. Hopefully this was just a slump in the story telling and it doesn’t get worse from here.
