About this listen

In search for greater power, Matt, Liz, and Aster embark on their most dangerous adventure yet.

Minkalla, a planet where only those below TIer 15 can enter. A planet where the rules of the realm are changed, where the weaker you are the greater the rewards.

Matt and the team intend to conquer it at Tier 11.

Seven floors, seven rewards of every increasing power, thousands of chances of death not just from the Tier 14 monsters but from all the others entering the planet.

The Empire isn't the only one with a claim on the planet. All eight Great Powers send their people into the planets depths.

Its not just a fight for survival. Its much worse. A fight for power.

Don't miss Book 6 of this action-packed fantasy adventure that blends everything you love about LitRPG with Xianxia.

About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

To counter the guy that said too much fluff. I actually did enjoy all the extra Side characters and stuff in the world. It suited this particular story on the planet and gave us scenes and stuff going on around our MC that adds to the universe .Quite honestly this is probably one of my favorites of the series so far, and I am excited for book 7.

Not too much fluff.

I enjoyed Minkala, even if the fourth floor was a bit tedious - but adding all of the random perspectives and death scenes just added filler to the book. If these “other powers” are going to be relevant in the coming war then I suppose it’s good to see where they came from - but if the result is I don’t get to hear the protagonists full delve until the next book, I feel a bit robbed.

Let’s hope the next one finishes that plot line.

Didn’t finish the delve?

the 1st half of the book, was pretty boring and filled with disposition. the book picks up on the latter half, and chapter checking in on other factions was very interesting. very reminiscent of One piece, which I did like.

Slow at the beginning

Ohhhh man what a mesmerizing tale. It's jam packed full of puzzles and monsters not to mention the roaming kill squads. In this book we find our intrepid team Quill, Torch and Aster, along with Queen are goin to Minkalla a rift world, again not necessarily to gain higher tiers, but to, if can conquer it for rewards and loot drops. As Minkalla has some of the best most unique rewards ever given. And unfortunately Minkalla and it's challenges are too big, too much for just one book so of course Path of Ascension 7 will be a must read! Unfortunately I'll hafta stew around and wait for it's soon to be release!

Here's a quote that really tickled me:

"Her icy smile was both happy and cold enough to send a shiver down his spine. He felt like a naughty child who had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, which was frankly ridiculous. He had bought those cookies. He could eat as many as he wanted."

What a mesmerizing tale! And jam packed with action!

Honestly this series has grown to be one of my favorites. I look forward to every iteration.

Previous concerns about narrator and editing are no long a problem and are actually quite good. All the thumbs up.

Great series just getting better and better

I loved this book! The author and narrator both did an amazing job. I think the author does a great job at making this book one that anyone can pick up and still enjoy even if you haven't read all the past books (which if you haven't you should definitely do!). This story is wonderful for it's suspense and just content in general. Each floor is very well thought out and the author does a great job of moving the characters through each floor in a speed that feels natural and yet packed with new and interesting content. Also the author does a great job making everything just feel more realistic and almost possible to the extent that a world of skills could. I look forward to the next book and the battles to come!!

I feel like this is the superior Hunger Games.

Different characters story within a story

non of this is enough to actually make yhe story bad, but it gives nothing to the story either. I understand she started as a mascot character, but once she became intelligent that should have changed. She's had little to no character growth. Even at the age of 30 she's little more than a child with power. She's incredibly arrogant, with a deeply nihilistic concept. If she doesn't eventually become the villain of the story I would be surprised.

Aster is annoying.

This was an amazing read. I was just wondering if you will continue the series because WOW! I'm extremely invested in seeing how this could possibly end. I believe you started a book that could possibly not end if you didn't want it to. Thank you for the experience of your store.
Sincerely,
Stacy Riley
