The perfect conclusion to the Perfect Run saga!
It's one thing to go back to the beginning and another to reach the perfect ending.
Ryan Romano has done it. He has gathered information about all the villains threatening New Rome. He listed all the people he wants to protect. He knows which places he has to blow up and which car he has to steal. All that's left is going back in time one final time, achieve the perfect sequence of events, save everyone, get the girl, and defeat the ultimate enemy.
It's time for the Perfect Run.

As shown by all of interactions with ghoul, my expectations were met. What I was not expecting was to really see Ryan's loneliness and the entire process of making this a perfect run for everyone.
After this series I have decided to go and pick up all of the authors other published works. I would and did recommend this to all of my friends.
What I expect vs what I got

***Spoiler warning***
First the fact that Ryan can't make a new save serves literally no purpose other than to create artificial tension. He is basically told that those 10 seconds are important then it never matters except to make his death have a consequence. It's cheap and pointless.
Second, things only end well because literally God shows up and makes it good. The heroes had already won by that point but it feels a little like a cheat for God to show up and say "good enough here is the best ending". Direct intervention like that just feels hand wavy and unearned.
Both these issues feel like the author had more ideas for the story but ran out of time or motivation. Even with these issues at worst this is still a great series the stumbles a little at the end but still finishes pretty solid.
Still good but a bit disappointing of an end

Though I wish we had more time with Ryan I'm glad we got to see what truly broke him and turned him into the centuries long wanderer.
While the relationships were intriguing since he can go back in time and what not, I do feel sad when I realized some are over and others won't be back to how they used to. Though I am glad that my favorite girl made it through.
Sometimes I wonder just what has Ryan been through, having himself said that he has gone to a different planet in the solar system and explored alien ruins.
