Yes, I listen to Mind Pump Podcast everyday since Feb 2020, this book is everything the podcast repeatadly teaches all condensed into this little book.
I used to weigh 225 lbs as a truck driver, I got down to 160ish, but all via cardio with weights, excessively all on HIIT training, with no rest periods. I plateued and fat started creeping back on.. Then after gyms closed, it just got worse, I was back up to 200 lbs in no time. My body had adapted to that style of training, not that there's anything wrong with HIIT if used appropriately, but when I stopped training like that, it didn't take much for weight to come back on. Now I've been working on resistance training the correct way (via Mind Pump's programs), it's been slow, but slow progress is sustainable progress, right? Now I've lost 3 belt loops despite my scale weight staying right around 200 lbs! I'm actually eating more food too! I can't believe it! This feels great 👍🏼
