Fun second book

I would have given it 5 stars except it kinda ends on a cliffhanger. The narrator is great, but not great with female voices.

He is a tree

I surprisingly really enjoyed this book it is kind of sad though but it’s a good book if you like dungeon core stuff like dungeon books then yeah you’ll love it.

Interesting perspective but slow story

I find myself loving the books but hoping more will happen. Understandably the MC is a tree so he takes his time and preserves time differently but the plot is a set cycle and feels stagnate. I do love how unique this idea is. The prospective of a MC who’s living a Tower defense life is cool to see!

the book was good until the ending

the ending was literally ass, that was not an ending that was just an open-ended question, it's like he thought he needed to make you have to know what happens next to continue with the idea of getting book 3 or something, her fingers will normally meant for you know action novels things with super fast pace which the story was never really kind of makes having a cliffhanger stupid.

A trees life

Never thought I would be so excited to read/Hear a trees perspective. Amazingly entertaining and keeps me wondering why Aeon is so worried about anyone finding out his a reincarnated Earthling and what will happen when he does come out

Please Keep Some Humanity Tree-Tree

I have loved listening to the progression of Aeon but I'm not sure I like the direction its going. First of all, Alexis was a train wreck. She was never truly grateful and then she actively started convincing herself that Tree-Tree was evil but in a weird conspiracy theory way. You can make legitimate arguments for why Tree-Tree is immoral but she chose to invent shit to try to get out of her contract she never liked. Then he just let them fuck off with minimal reassurance that they won't be a problem. If Alexis comes back into the story as an enemy I'm going to be pissed.
Next I dont like him going full tree mode. His human inclinations despite being a tree was what made the story fun and interesting. Plus it would make all of that time spent on the elves and other races pointless. I also wish he was less secretive at least with Jura because his insistence on absolute secrecy with certain topics actively creates problems that are just annoying.
Other than that I have really enjoyed this book, I just really hope I enjoy the next one too but this second book has made me less hopeful.
Hang in there Matt!

Kept my attention!!

Good second book for the series!!! I really enjoyed the growth of the valley and new frika. Tree tree learns lots of new skills and continues to do tree like things. His thoughts on wastewater treatment are hilarious. I hope the next book includes some more character growth for tree tree. I think he made a lot of mistakes with his approach and involvement with the hero’s and demons in general. So I’m interested to see where the story is headed in book 3!
