Another!

I really look forward to this series. I can't wait for the next one. While I can see what the other reviews say about the narration style, I really don't mind it. The style is consistent and the same as the other 4 books.

I’ve really enjoyed this series so far!

My one and only complaint, well not really a complaint more just something I think is a bit odd, is the pacing. Sometimes it’s a bit of a slog whilst others it feels like so much is happening so fast! Voice actor is really great overall, very soothing voice to listen to.

More of the demon invader's secrets are revealed.

As usual, this was a great continuation of the story where Aeon and his crew overcome challenges and uplift the lives of the people who Allie with him.

The performance is great and is part of the reason I keep coming back. Aeon's personality is perfectly portrayed, and it is easy to keep track of who is speaking. I can't wait for the audio version of Book 6 to be released.

some of the most annoying narration I've heard... ever

This guy doesn't seem to have the ability to speak ANY sentence or statement without whispering the ending...
it doesn't matter what's being said, who's saying it, if it's dialogue or 3rd person.
The ending of EVERY.SINGLE is whispered

Another great addition!

Keeps getting better and better! The character development was really good in this one. I’m excited to see who else steps up. Ready
for book 6!

A good continuation!

If you like the previous stories, you're probably going to like this one. Looking forward to the next one. I feel it might be the last one.

Good book

This was a good book in the series. It’s nice to actually see the main plotline. Get some actual progression done to it. Unfortunately, it dragged at some spots.

Great, like the last ones

I enjoy the fact that the world keeps expanding without super major time skips, or issues with plot or characters. Overall great book by our tree overlord!

What?!?!

What has stopped Aeon and his endless artificial minds from learning every kind of magic ? .

And why do they ignore domain selections and hero fragments in their discussions about leveling. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the discussion is not new. It is frustrating how they are trying so hard to justify something that will slow down their progress knowing so many tropes and the development rates of everyone.

And the weird way people like Stella argue about morality in such a convenient and willfully blind way was confusing. She knew all the stuff they did and didn’t do but pretends and argues for morality on a smaller scale. Aeon actively does the things they discuss as though he doesn’t. It was really annoying.

There is a lot of hypocrisy on how Aeon treats different people/groups. From how hands off he pretends to be to how influence he pretends to and actually exerts. It’s like pushing something over an edge and then saying it’s free to fall how it would like. That push kind of has a lot to do with the whole falling situation so maybe you should take some accountability.

Aeon’s sidelining himself from the global
conflict he started because he wants to pretend things are fine was idiotic. You are deciding how you want things and taking actions towards that goal. Stop pretending that’s not what you did and take responsibility for it. How can ‘someone’ who’s lived well over 200 yrs old be so childish.

Aeon’s progress has also been curtailed. Decades of experimentation, new materials and much more and no new skills. Not even research related upgrades to his skills. A huge aspect of the atory we agreed out with has all but been abandoned.
