About this listen

What happens when one takes a murderous psychopath and forces them to team up with a cowardly tinkerer? Though not a question Jeremiah ever expected to ponder, he is nevertheless looking forward to seeing what the aforementioned duo will cook up. Success or failure does not matter to Richard, only that the journey be entertaining.

Things are far less jovial for the one under Tom's "care", however. Stuck in the monster-infested wilderness, lacking the usual backup, hunted by the Empire's top brass, and tasked with an incredibly vague and obtuse Quest, Boxxy will face a world of uncertainty and adversity. However, this is nothing new. Pain, suffering, and loss are things that have been commonplace since day one, and Boxxy is not only entirely undaunted, but also eager to share those valuable lessons with its new "companion". With things both shiny and tasty on the line, the crafty killer has every intention of showing that lich who's boss.

Assuming Boxxy manages to find it, of course.

To the narrator, thank you for watching the entire Caramelldansen video. It made an already amazing book even better. I basically had to explain a level 6 meme to my shop minions after I started laughing uncontrollably in the middle of the work day. Thank you again.

Caramelldance FTW!!!

Such a great series of fantasy rpg. I love the twist of it being about a monster growing in level. A side to RPG's you rarely see.

So Good...

Just another fantastic installment and the series. I think everyone in the reviews is talking about the same scene, and the rape of one of the main characters doesn't seem to really serve a purpose other than breaking them so they can try to grow from the experience. Still, in reality, people don't just pick themselves up after rape very often. Honestly, after reading every book in the series, even past this point, it's not necessary for character growth or for the story. If you're sensitive to things like rape, you can skip over the entire scene and you won't have missed a single thing from the book.

All good, but the rape scene seemed unnecessary

Love this series and its comical chaos. Seeung things from a monster's perspective is not as different as the cold and callous heroes as one would expect showing that everybody in their own right can be a monster.

Chest are best

The stories of Neven Iliev just keep getting better! this continuation of Boxy T Morningwood brings with it all of the hilarity of the previous stories and thickens the plot. The one key difference between this and previous installments, which is likely due to my over active empathy, is that I truly found myself feeling for Fizzy.. and then things, per usual, take a crazy turn :) All in all it's a fantastic continuation and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first two audio books in the series.

Also, Jeff Hayes truly delivers once again in his narration bringing the characters to life and really making them sound quite different. I absolutely love his work in this series (and others!).

Another masterpiece

I rarely write reviews and I’m pretty sure this is the first I’ve written for this series but I’d just like to say that I found it great, like the rest of the books. Plenty of fun and crazy, dark and unforeseen shit happens. If you’ve read up to this point then you get the idea.

I also loved how the quest given by Sheryl the god of unlikelihoods doesn’t take up the entire book and it just finished at the very beginning with plenty more to read/listen to.

Really great stuff as always

As always the narration is amazing and I never realized I would care so much about a mimic. The story is very engaging and if you are a D&D fan will rope you in. The hyper sexual aspect is toned down in this one, a bit, but still there if that is what you are looking for. Boxy and his, um, it’s, merry monsters are delightfully devilish and I love this series!

You will cheer for the monsters
