Great content, poorly narrated

The substance of this book is worth way more than the cost of it. I will purchase the physical book as it's a keeper. Sadly the narration and production are quite poor. But the content is good enough that you can overlook this and get great insights.

Five Stars

If you are wanting to understand Cognitive Behavior Therapy, this is the book for you. It explains it well and describes it in a way that you can apply it to your counseling. The author is certainly in a place to be an authority of CBT.

Well Done

Love this book. Breaks down CBT easily and understandably. I truly like it. I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic

I love this book! So far, I'm on week 3 and it's helped me so much. The author talks in an easy to understand manner. There are activities that you have to do, and you have to write your thoughts/fears on the worksheets which make you aware of how the book is working! It has gotten me more motivated! I highly recommend this book and I have told many friends with anxiety about it!

I love this book

I love this book, comprehensive yet easy to understand. I bought it to get a more thorough understanding of CBT and how this theory translates into therapy, and it truly explains this amazingly!

Impressive

A good, introductory to Cognitive Behavior Therapy. It provides a good, clear, constructive overview of CBT. Although the book uses an overview of treating the depressed patient, the book is simple enough to allow adaptation to other diagnoses.

My own wish

So thankful I found this. I was able to not only "brush up" on my CBT skills but gain insight behind the techniques and why they are used.

Frustrating narration

Content is excellent. However, it was either read by computer or by one of the most boring narrators on the planet. In addition, there were many mistakes in the reading which made it past the editor.

So if you were just looking for the information, it is a good choice. On the other hand, if you were looking for something that is going to hold your interest as well, you could probably do better.

very helpful

This is a great book and had been helping very much. At first, it is a little hard to get into due to author fluff at the start. I just want to know if it works, not your life story - it's supposed to be about me so get to the point author. I find myself going back to it when mini issues are happening. It helps to keep me grounded and organized in my own head.
