About this listen

Even with his immense new power, James comes to realize that he is still playing into the hands of the System.

If they are to free Earth and redeem the billions of dead, James and his crew will have to do more than journey into the pits of hell or slaughter countless armies of demons—they'll have to find the god-like forces orchestrating the apocalypse, break every rule, and utterly defeat them.

Fantastic 3rd and Final Book

This book picks up very well from Book 2 and does a damn good job of holding it's own and taking you deeper into the story. Without giving away any spoilers the author generates some twists and turns I did not see coming and wraps this up very satisfyingly, though with a little heart rending self sacrificing along the way.

As all good stories should it will leave you enthralled chapter to chapter and overflowing with emotion. Well done Phil Tucker and Tom Taylorson!

Great trilogy

Wish there was more, but can’t be mad at that well executed ending. And the voice acting was excellent throughout.

Perfect

What a rollercoaster and here for it, the narrator was amazing and the story was just perfect. Bittersweet because now I’m lost.

Masterful

Masterful storytelling of a masterpiece of a story. Enough of the personality of the characters comes through but not excessive, enough plot twists to keep it interesting, and a great wrap-up to a very complex and involved story. Too bad we can only give 5 stars, it deserves so much more.

Great book. Great ending.

This was a very enjoyable series that I sort of wish could have continued on further. I am slightly disappointed that the author did not choose to stretch this series out several more books but I can see why he chose to end it here. If you are a potential reader and trying to decide whether to give this a try I highly recommend doing so and assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Expectedly Unexpected.

The "become god" trope at the end of modern progression fantasies has become stale to me. I am glad the author made an effort to have a unique twist on it.

It was a very satisfying ending to a great trilogy. It got pretty convoluted towards the end, and a few loose ends were left to fray, but I still loved it.

Thank you for the journey!
