Started reading to better understand a child in my life and awakened to see that there is also a closely related adult in my life with the same issue! This feels like the beginning of an important journey that must begin.

I’m 40 and in the process of being diagnosed with adhd and this book is amazingly helpful. I don’t want to change who I am but I do want to have better control over the things that are adhd related that make my life so much more difficult than I feel like it needs to be. This book is full of helpful ideas and suggestions which I love and plan on implementing in my life. The fact that Dr. Hamdani also has adhd is really helpful because she knows what it’s like dealing with it and I think that gives her a unique perspective and understanding.

I love it when a person with ADHD gets into the psychological field and can talk from not only their own lived experience but the real-life science and research about ADHD. It's so incredibly validating!

One of our own!

I understand the tempation of recording the book you may have written. However, voice actors are professional reader's. OK, that's just a pet pev for me. That a side this is an excellent book. I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and can relate to almost everything Dr. Hamdani shared about life from an ADHD perspective. If you have ADHD or you have a loved one walking through life with it, this book could be a tremendous help to you.

I never understood ADHD nor considered that this may be something my son should be tested for until I saw one of the authors videos on Instagram. it described to a T a lot of his behaviors AND also mine. We were both diagnosed with ADHD within the last year and it’s been a life changing diagnosis for us both. This book is a gem as it is unique and specific. It validates so many of the self care /survival skills I’ve learned along the way and gives many, many new ones for my son and I to explore. I especially enjoyed the narration by the author, as you can sense the caring nature of Dr. sasha as well as her humor and intelligence. I’m grateful for the important work she does to bridge the gap between the medical world and real life. Thank you. I will keep coming back to this book.

Amazing book for ADHD with very relevant ideas to provide self-care to yourself if you have (or even don't have) ADHD! The only suggestion I have is to provide a PDF summary. As someone with ADHD, it would be truly helpful as a reference sheet.

Amazing book, but needs to have pdf summary
