Publisher's summary

Miles “Shrug” Lindstrom has endured the first few days of his new monster-infested world.

He has become the Champion of a god, and managed to become one of the most powerful survivors in his area.

However, a new quest to kill a giant—a boss monster—will be difficult if not impossible to accomplish by himself. Gathering more power for himself is a safe bet towards all of his goals, and might be easier now that he has a class. But if this new world is anything, it’s uncertain.

Join Miles as he continues to navigate a newly post-apocalypse world full of monsters, magic, and people demonstrating the very best, and very worst that humanity has to offer.

Will he accept the expectations that other survivors have for him? Will he reject them? Or will he find his own path?

Book 2 in the next LitRPG Apocalypse Series from bestseller Blaise Corvin, author of Delvers LLC and Apocalypse Cultivation. Sometimes, being the chosen one isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

A good story

Blaise usually rights good books. The plot was straight forward. There aren't any major plot twist. I think anyone could enjoy the book.

Good book

So far I thoroughly enjoyed the series. I can’t wait to see what the altar comes up with on the next book. I was surprised and how much I’ve enjoyed the book so far.

Good but should’ve been part of the last book.

This was a fairly good story, but this book should’ve been part of the last book. It felt like one continuous story that was cut in half. The first books ending was rather stupid and didn’t feel like a proper ending. This book felt like it had a proper ending but the start of the book felt awkward. As for the overall story, it was very atypical of an RPG apocalypse story. What makes the story interesting is how the main character reacts to his situation.
The story is set in the same universe as the Apocalypse Cultivation series. I enjoyed the first book of that series. The second book not so much. The second book in that series is really took a quality dive so I was very unsure how the second book in this series would pan out. But overall, it turned fairly good. I would definitely be interested in seeing a third book in this series. But I am not sure that the author has any real plans for another book in this series. The first two books in the series was posted on Royal Road, but nothing has been posted indicating the third book would be coming.

Good but short

Really love the book series, universe and stories. Biggest downside is that it is t longer.

Great Sequel

Great sequel to 'Sponsored Apocalypse' with a lot of character development for Miles (Shrug) and the whole town. I'm really looking forward to see where his powers go and how Bacon evolves.

Better than I expected

I got both books on a whim but I thoroughly enjoyed them. GameKit, apocalyptic, survival, desperate battle. Has everything I look for in a good story. Can’t wait for the next one!

it's good. it's really good

I really enjoyed this book. if you like the previous one in the series you're going to like this. it's even better because you just have to take time to establish the world or lay out the powers or any of that stuff. you can just hit the ground running. there's a lot of action. the main protagonist isn't an idiot which is nice for once. looking forward to seeing this character and some of the other characters from previous books he's written cross path, which where it looks like it's leading. really looking to see how the character uses. his powers in the future has a great ending. I can't really tell you anything more without giving away the plot and ruining the book for you. I hope this helps. I'm writing this review with voice to text
