About this listen

Randidly Ghosthound built a Class with his own hands.

Although he may now Level and rapidly earn rare Skills, the System isn't done with him yet. As the final hurdle to becoming accepted by the System, Randidly must lead a group of Zone 32's best into the Raid Dungeon and complete the assigned Quests. What starts as a simple horde survival mission becomes complicated when the Creature begins meddling again with his Fate.

Yet as it turns out, not all threats to humanity are alien ones. Because in other Zones, stand-out heroes like Randidly Ghosthound don't exist to curtail humanity's darker impulses. In the divided remnants of the country's capital, some powerful figures have taken a few sips of the power offered by the System and like the taste. They'll experiment on the bodies of the poor and forgettable to find out how they can wield the power of monsters for themselves.

Good, but...

Author did go overboard with the amount of POVs and I am tired of Lyra. She needs to be axe off...again.

this series continues to improve

characters and plot are becoming more complex and nuanced, storytelling is somehow becoming more compelling and realistic and Ghost Hound it seems is actually beginning to grow in a maturity and personality and not only in strength.

It’s like 4 stories in one

A little convoluted at first but a pretty strong finish. I will definitely read the next book!

Good but not great

Overall I enjoyed the book, but honestly it would have been so much better if the author stayed on the story of the other characters instead of randidly working with metal. I honestly think that was a wast of a great first half of the book

Food way of a filler transition

All I'll have to say is I like where it's going and even thinking where he stayed to now is a great story

I love it

I like how you stick with the main character for most of the book even tho it’s about making metal! I can’t wait till he comes out as being super overpowered

Characters and world expand

Great installment to the story. Expansion to other primary characters and begins to develop a wider world view and the machinations of those seeking individual power and dominance over other budding zones. Good to get beyond The Ghosthound and into other interesting subplots.

Slower, but there is more being explored!

The world opens up quite a bit in the second half of this book and a bunch of things are being setup. This makes the pace a bit slower, but overall I’m really loving all of the new stuff. Can’t wait for the next!
