About this listen

After participating in the empire's vassal war, Matt, Liz, and Aster now have a fire nipping after their heels. Or rather, their new manager, Luna. And she demands their best at all times, or she will drive them off The Path of Ascension.

With the Tier-10 tournament looming in front of them, the gang is going to have to dig deep if they want to continue on the path, but Luna isn't the only one who has plans.

Can Matt, Liz, and Aster survive the machinations of a Tier-40 who has created several Ascenders before? Or will they simply be another statistic on The Path?

Don't miss book four of this action-packed fantasy adventure that blends everything you love about LitRPG with xianxia.

About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

ice cream!

I like the characters, story, and world. The writing is a bit dry, but enjoyable just the same. The narrator is decent, but so many characters sound the same.

Where is book 5?

I absolutely love the world building in this book.
I cannot wait until book five is released.
It's not that often that I find myself laughing at jokes that characters make in books but they're just so likable and rational.
Love the narration.

Slice Of Life Progression

if Book 3 was: Slice of Life mixed with war, PTSD, and therapy; this book is Slice of Life mixed with production/crafting science. While in the Slice of Life progression stories I like to have a little more detail on our MC becoming OP, if you are okay with the pace of these stories, then go ahead and pay the credit, and wait with the rest of us for the next one.

They way they restrict themselves is annoying

There are people who can wipe out galaxy’s with a thought and a majority of them would use their outmost power to kill the MC no matter the cost so let’s make sure he will choose to go through the slowest and most inefficient method to gather strength cause his girlfriend wants to keep up whatever false pride she wants to hold onto.

Great overall story but filler book

I love this series it's great with a good take on both minor litrpg elements with more heavy emphasis on xianxia. this one book though is a bit more filler than the others though
