Life hacks for a depressed human

I bought this book on Audible and in print & my only regret is that I did not have this book in my hands when I was 17 and trying to figure myself out! I’m now 57 and I’m so grateful I have this book. Turns out all of the symptoms I thought were unique to me are things other people actually experience too - I feel empowered by the knowledge I have found in this book; it is full of life hacks for the depressed human. I have listened to it twice and read through several chapters highlighting and taking notes on every page. Excellent book!

Good narrator and helpful advice!

It is comforting to listen to someone who gets depression. I like the narrator, and the advice helped me to move forward.

Great advice, horrible narrator

Oh my goddddd, I’m so sad that I didn’t listen to a sample before purchasing this. I knew I wanted to read the book but thought it’d be nice to listen to while commuting. NO, WRONG. I just absolutely cringe listening to this lady, UGHHHH!!!! Why couldn’t Julie have just narrated? WHYYY! She just narrated a drill sergeant line like she was reading a sweet children’s book trying to put a baby to sleep, I can’t. I don’t think I am gonna be able to finish the next 8 hours I have left.
