About this listen

The exciting conclusion to the Jake's Magical Market series!

Last time we saw Jake, he was [redacted to avoid spoilers] with [redacted] in order to travel to [redacted]. He had finally learned [redacted] and [redacted]. He was just starting to [redacted]! So join him now on his new adventure as he [redacted! redacted! redacted!].

Ok, no spoilers allowed, but be prepared for a life-changing, world-spanning, time-twisting conclusion to Jake's story!

Lessons will be learned (maybe), new powers will be gained (definitely), worlds will be explored (cool), time will be tamed (is that even possible?), and adventures will be adventured (yes that's the right way to say that, don't worry about it).

You won't want to miss this one cause it's gonna be epic!

I love everything about this series. The comedy, the possibility of a hate to love relationship, the fight scenes, and all the chaos Jake’s copies created. Honestly it’s a nice balance of action, drama and comedy. I just wish there was a little bit more romance developed between Jake and the goddess. But overall it’s a 10/10 I love this series and everything about it. The character development was very good and the world building was amazing. I’ll definitely be watching for more books released by JR Mathews from now on! Read or listen to the series, trust me, It’s worth it!

Loved the whole series!

I quite liked the book, but I was especially impressed by the narrator! While he isn't Travis, he did an amazing job in this book, maybe even better than Travis would've😊

The narrator actually sung the song, and he was good

J.R. Matthews really knows how to bring it home. This third installment, in what has been one of the most enjoyable series I have ever read, ensured that the series didn't end in a flop. He expertly sewed every aspect of this series together in an ending that was both heartfelt and unforgettable. The entire trilogy was quite a ride and look forward to listening to it all, from the very start, all over again!!!!

Way to wrap up a series

This book has been an incredible journey and an “epic” conclusion, in Jake’s shortcut fashion, to the most power-packed, slice-of-life litRPG fantasy ever. It is a true joy following Jake’s adventures and the misadventures of his ever-prankish copies.

*Spoilers*: Especially Captain and Co. *Spoilers*

The story has a truly heartwarming ending and is really satisfying, though I would love to see more of Jake. His story has probably one of the best endings I’ve encountered in the genre, and though I’m sad to see him go, his adventures will forever live on in my mind.

So yes, for the recommendation part: If you’ve read Jake’s Magical Market 1 and 2, this is a no-brainer—just read it (if you loved those, you will love this too).

And for those who don’t know the story of Jake, read the first book. I can’t recommend it enough, especially if you are into fantasy litRPG, cultivation novels, or the like. This series blends all of that with a bit of normalcy and slice of life, giving the perspective of a normal guy out of his depth, with gods, magical cards, too many systems of power, and goofy powers to remember.
The story is all over the place in the best way possible, providing both growth and shortcuts for our unlikely hero, who isn’t really a hero at all, as much as a person with a love of friends and street food, longing for a home in the past that does not exist anymore—a theme that can be related to. The story blends serious topics with humor and goofy powers and is a must-read if you feel even remotely interested by now.

P.S. To J.R. Mathews, should this wayward comment ever find its way to you: Thank you for writing this series. It has been a journey, and I will always imagine the future adventures of Jake and his friends in my heart.

A satisfying end to an adventure of a lifetime!

A fitting ending to the series. I really enjoyed it. It did get a little long with the development but it was needed to get the full story.

Loved it

Overall a great series. If you've read the first the books already, it is definitely worth getting this one to finish up the series.
Some parts can be a little bit of a slog to get through, but that's almost inevitable in a book this long. Jake has a ton of personal growth in this book, and the series wraps up on a good note. The one year later epilogue is super cute.

A good finale.
