Informative

I really liked this book. It helped me understand some issues I need help with. That I cannot do this on my own. Than I was able to identify some of the things I thought was normal to feel and think but turn and find out that it is my self-esteem and coping mechanism I use to keep me from getting hurt. I need that you did great, good job to make me feel like I am good at something. With having an illness that has changed my life has dropped my self-esteem down more and I feel like I cannot do a lot of things this book helped me understand that I still can.

Helpful advice to stop being a victim and move on

I've read and listened to many books about shadow work over the last year or two, and the thing they all have in common is striving to help people find a deeper understanding of themselves in order to move away from self-sabotaging and destructive behaviors. This book covers all of that, but what I really appreciated was the chapter about moving away from seeing yourself as a victim, taking responsibility, and stopping the cycle of blame. That was truly powerful for me.

Good Book

This is a great book. After listening to this book, I have learned that it's okay to focus on one's self care and confront issues that can have a huge impact on one's emotions, mental health, and even physical health. Shadow work takes courage and bravery to look at and explore a person's personality and behavior.
