Because of the family viewpoint I am looking forward to the next twist
Good to have a teenage hero

Needs to speed things up

Good story lots of potential, just too slow. I often find myself zoning out. The last three books could have just been one book. It’s like a Korean drama just dragging. Takes too long to explain anything..we get it, now let’s see more action more city’s freed, more invaders destroyed, it’s book three and his camp only has how many people…there should be way more by now. Speed things up.

I like the books

I do like the book series but still waiting for the MC to come into his own I understand he was a war vet not special service some firefights that's fine but he is a gamer biggest thing is he got all these question to ask the fairy Ben could have asked each and every question why there was traveling too need to start listening to us instincts he keeps on pushing it off Justin start listening to him.three he is going to have to start chasing strength hopefully this open his eyes without levels it's going to be hard for him to protect his family and people three he needs trust Ed give them a to-do list go out game a level come back see what's all needs to be done help out where you can but he needs to gain levels understand there's a lot that needs to be done give a sense to people hey we need crafters we need hunters y'all going to have to help and for heaven's sake if he does not trust Theodore he just need to kick the man out but other than that great books and these are just my thoughts

Good, but the narrative barely moves forward

I don't mind slow series that include lots of detail (DOTF, HWFWM, Wandering Inn to name some), love them sometimes. The story is great here and I like the characters. That said the author needs to move the narrative along at least some and stop having characters think through the same sentences on repeat rather than taking any action. I get trying to extend books to have more to write in the series, please find a better balance though.

Great story

I liked the whole thing but I can’t believe you’re leaving us hanging without book 4 and any books that come after that!!! Does Kelly ever get back to her family? Do we find out why Loch and his girls are so strong? Is it because of their connection to Thor? Do they ever beat the system? Does Sasquatch beat his enemies? There are way too many loose ends to leave us hanging like this! Don’t you think it’s morally irresponsible to leave us without the answers, trying to guess and fill in all those blanks ourselves? Please get book 4 up and running as quickly as possible. Thank you.

last one for me

I like the story overall but this is the third book and we don't need book 1 instructions on every evaluate interaction. levels are slow to come by but happen with every quality fight. we cant add stats in combat except when oh i forgot to do it and now we have 2 levels of stats to allocate. I felt myself zoning out multiple times and went back and finding there isn't enough action to support the slow story.

I am done with the series. I will keep an eye for future works from the author but I believe there are other series that I would rather spend the credit on.

disappointing, boring, and literally repetitive

please don't waste time and money on this series. it started out interesting but it is several books that would be one if the author would move the narrative forward instead of repeating the same tired questions and over describing everything to the point of ridiculousness. I honestly am starting to feel this drivel is on purpose just to create more books. Too many words, too little story

written for people with Amnesia

I mostly like the books but don't really need a each page reminder that the wife is still missing, or they need crafter or harper is missing or xyz. also seems to have a time issue has it been a few day or a few weeks make up your mind and stick with it. also have a Google but don't actually take 2 seconds to ask any questions despite all the waiting they do and how slow the book process ( all that travle time and did nothing with it ) meh books will continue wirh them but not thrilled with them
