It works


I was suffering from from occasional panic attacks in social situations for a couple of years. Then it turned into constant anxiety for like 3 months. Heart palpitations, stomach in a knot, insomnia. It was the most awful feeling. Words can't really describe it.

Helpful

Working through the exercises does give me anxiety, so I only work on it a little at a time. My doctor said it’s okay that working on it gives me anxiety because it is more of a controlled environment.

Great


This was the perfect book for me, a biology major. I only had one other episode of a panic attack thirty years ago. I felt that one was brought on by a second miscarriage. No one told me then what was going on in my body. Just knowing that it was just adrenalin has been an immediate help with this attack out of the blue!

Very helpful

I have Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder with agoraphobia and PTSD. This has been a huge help in learning how to manage my anxiety and not let it control me. I will be trying similar workbooks in the future.

Great information

Great information about anxiety attacks. Got it for my son when he started having them. He said it gave him and understanding of them and how to deal withem better. And it is written and narrated by someone who actually has them.
