About this listen

In the first book, Hadjar lost it all. His body ruined, parents dead, and his title of Prince replaced by a slave collar. It seemed like Primus had deprived him of everything.

But no one can take away a man's will to fight. Even if his heart turns into a bleeding stone due to endless grief and suffering, it won't matter. The most important thing was that he still had the will to go on. The thought of taking revenge on his family's murderers gave him the strength to survive.

After receiving a piece of the mighty Dragon's heart, he regained his strength and enlisted in the army, where he made real friends and fought by their side in many battles. He started harnessing his new power and acquiring great knowledge.

Hadjar has already had many adventures, but this is only the beginning of his great journey, full of magical mysteries, palace intrigues, epic battles, tempestuous love and the cultivation of his power...

Another Great book in the series

I really love these books. They are very well done. Almost none stop action. These books are bloody heart wrenching and deep. I cant wait for the next one to come out.

Haters are gonna hate

Yes sometimes the narrator licks his lips, it’s not as prevalent as everyone says. It’s a good story, follows up on book one well.

Swordsman

This was a great listen. Very detailed and the narrator isn't loud (when the book calls for yelling) some really epic battles too, LOVE the whole master swordsman shtick. There were some massive enemies and alot (ALOT) of warriors in the battles too. Just loved it all the way around ❤️

great story, not so great narrator.

The story is really good in my opinion. I sometimes get the feeling that the author has been strongly influenced by the manga/anime dragon ball :-D it just seems to me that Hadjar is on his way to become a super sajan in the late medieval ages. Which is awesome by the way^^

I did not like the narration at some times. Most of the time it is OK but the female voices are not very distinguishable from each other.
And whenever there is screaming in the book it sounds like the narrator is trying to scream quietly which takes away a lot of the atmosphere in my opinion.
