Very Motivational

I purchased this after begining the nutritarian lifestyle outlined in Eat to Live and it has provided additional motivation and inspiration to continue. We cannot all travel to Dr. Fuhrman's clinic, so this is a great way to have him come to us.

Beware of misleading Kindle Pricing.

Any additional comments?

This book is only offered for Audio books and it's great. I love it and I am rarely disapointed in any audio book I down load, however, I do think that Kindle readers need to be aware that the price in the buy icon is misleading and is dependent on being a member. I am not likely to order to many books in the future form the Kindle store.

Better Than Eat to Live

I thought this book was better than his previous book, Eat to Live. He updated most of the facts and included much more tips. I Definitely recommend reading it.

Great book with simple plan, still hard though...

What did you love best about Eat for Health?

This book is a great listen for someone who isn't quite sure what is healthy to eat and what is not. This book makes a sound case for low calorie, low-fat and low-carb based diet. The author clearly states there will be repetition of some content explaining that the goal is for the reader (listener) to understand and internalize the concepts of a healthy diet. This way your not just trying a fad diet, but rather making a lifestyle change.

What did you like best about this story?

The testimonials and the full disclosure on the toughness of adapting to this diet. Not everyone will easily adjust to this diet due to learned eating habits, aversion to vegetables, and some digestive acclamation to the vegetable content.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The reader is the author. This brings a sincerity and confidence to the material. Also, it's much easier to have this book read and in effect explained to you rather than read the text.

Any additional comments?

This is a hard diet to fully acclimate to. Don't try this diet if you aren't willing to change your lifestyle. Try Adkins if you just want to lose weight quickly. This book is more about changing your health, and not just your weight.

Well founded, fun to listen to.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, this is well founded and it can change your life.... that is if you are willing to make drastic changes to your thinking and your American way of eating. For me, this is already the direction I was headed and I have made many changes in my way of eating. This was the natural next step I was looking for. I have recommended it to 3 others who are now making the suggested changes and are experiencing various health benefits/weight loss from it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Eat for Health?

Stories of those who have been cured of serious disease by changing the way they eat.

Which character – as performed by the narrator – was your favorite?

n/a

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You are what you eat.
