Information and a provided plan for ADHD

I really enjoyed this audiobook and found it a refreshing take on so many other 'how to' books that are out these days. After discussing the facets of ADHD, the author provides a detailed, step by step plan to work with and help overcome aspects of ADHD. The included 8-day plan has many exercises and suggestions for many situations one may encounter.

One of the most important parts for me was the 'Take command with Impulse Control'. Too often in life, or at work have we all had moments when we say something we wish we could take back. The author provided teachable information for situations exactly like this, for someone with ADHD but also for anyone who may be on the receiving end. A vital skill for everyone these days.

Loved the way the book is written

This book tells me so much about people I love who suffer from ADHD. I liked the way the problems and the solutions are explained, easy to follow and powerful messaging in this book, really loved it. And also the narration was excellent, really liked the voice..

THRIVE regardless of diagnosis

I love how this book is a workbook in the truest sense, as in it gives the listener ample time to really reflect and sit with the information that has been given in order to truly use it to their benefit. The author, Calvin Caufield even offers a printable workbook, which is immensely helpful. I really get excited that this series is called “THRIVING with ADHD” because this is a true testament to this books (and the series’) goal and agenda: to help those or family members and loved ones with ADHD to realize that they can not only live with ADHD and it’s symptoms, but THRIVE. And Caufield helps you do just that with a myriad of cognitive ameliorative exercises to master focus, improve mood, control behavior, organize, and a ton more. A great addition to this new-wave of self-help that helps those of us with different cognitive functionality traits take our power back.
