Publisher's summary

A zombie on the run. The curse has been hijacked. Time for patient zero to step up.

The human race has become an endangered species in the two weeks since the bomb fell in Seattle. Luckily for Digby, that’s not his problem. Skyline believes that he and his coven were burnt to cinders, so all he needs to do is lay low. Well, that was what he hoped would happen.

Instead, Henwick’s plan to hijack the curse was successful, spreading a new kind of monster across the land. They’re faster, stronger, and more lethal than the dead that came before. With these creatures on the prowl, it doesn’t take long before the apocalypse once again comes knocking at Digby’s door.

His plan to laze around is foiled, so Digby grudgingly sets out in search of a new home. With new allies and adversaries to keep an eye on, his coven will have to uncover the secrets behind Henwick’s plans.

Is creating a safe haven enough, or will Digby be forced to go to war?

Really enjoying it!

I know the author keeps stating the MC is a jerk but he seems very normal to me, I really like this and it is one of the best post-apocalyptic books I have read! I can’t wait to read the rest!

Incredible storyline

I was a bit concerned after book 1 that the story would leave the roots it had created. It doesn’t, it doubles down on the humor and horror elements and is a great addition. Can’t wait for the next one!

Zombies are not the only thing in the night

Lord Digby Graves has escaped the disaster at Seattle with his two apprentices. His plan is simple, find an amazing place to claim and lay low while they level up. The problem with this plan is that Skyline has modified the curse. When someone is turned, they turn into a revenant instead of a zombie. This means that there are a lot more hostiles now. On the plus side though, they are edible!

I was skeptical at first as I am not much of a zombie fan. I loved David Petrie’s other series, so I gave it a try. I am so happy that I did. This is such a fun series! Book 3 can not come soon enough! Fair warning: this series has significantly more language than Pixel Dust.

One of my favorite series, perfect mix of seriousness, humor, and the macabre. Beautiful littpg

Character Growth

Second installment of the series and it is starting to feel more fleshed out. the characters are learning and growing together. The changes in the zombie system make for a great addition.

(small Spoilers) Not much plot but there’s character development and the funny

This series isn’t very plot heavy it still happens but the most important part is how the characters interact with one another and I think this book really nails hell a 800 year old zombie would nuke an apartment

Love It!

Absolutely loved this book and I can’t wait for the 3rd book the series to come out. I hope the storyline progresses a little faster and hope it doesn’t turn into a The Walking Dead where every book is a different place, but same story. So far, I love it!
