If you are a senior and you want to gain core strength and stability, then keep reading.
Do you struggle with everyday tasks from getting out of bed in the morning to losing your balance when you are cleaning your house, or maybe you just don’t have the energy that you used to? This is very common in the senior population. My grandparents were slowing down and had difficulty mowing their lawn and cleaning their house. I really wanted to make a difference because I hated seeing them decline when they still had so much life to live. I helped them incorporate some of these core strengthening techniques and exercises; they now have more energy and are able to perform these tasks much easier. Sometimes it just takes education and a little encouragement to make big changes in your life.
A study was done by physiotherapist Nishad Abdul Latheef Majida on a group of seniors over the age of 65. The seniors were given a core-strengthening exercise program for six weeks, and the overall results demonstrated that the core-strengthening program improved functional mobility, improved balance, and decreased the risk for falls.

You get even more than what the subtitle says
I often listen to books like these ones to help family members who are rising through the age department. Given the title, I figured it would be a simple collection of exercises for seniors. But it was actually much more than that.
The author is a thoughtful and experienced health care provider who understands and has a passion for the subject here. As such, she’s careful to provide lots of helpful descriptions and insights on the body, human health, and thriving, overall.
I really liked how the book started with those insights rather than just jumping into the exercises. They provided a lot of eye-opening moments that I’ll be sharing with family members. They also round the book out nicely and tie its contents together perfectly.
And, yes, then there are the exercises: those done while standing, in a chair, or with weights. It’s a wide range of activities that ensures there’s something here for each body type and physical ability. And for all of those reasons, I rate this one highly.

Super great resource!
Wonderful audiobook that highlights the most important issue as you age to senior years - physical and mental health. Strengthening the core is the absolute best way to maintain good health and this book does a great job providing a number of different strategies and exercises to achieve optimal core strength.
Super impactful and I absolutely recommend this book!

Awesome for Seniors
We know that aged individual needs a different routine and level of exercise. This audiobook is a great manual for them to be able to still do some exercise without getting them injured. This is a simple step by step guide for not so young folks to be able for them to feel that they can still do some routines to gain core strength and stability which is crucial at their age and will help them their balance also. I like this one, I will recommend this to my Dad and Mom who's in their early 70's. Great Job to the author.

Helpful Book!
This is such a helpful book on exercising for seniors citizen.
I tried a number of these exercises with my grandma and she loved that it was absolutely safe and simple to follow.
Excellent book for older people to stay healthy and active.

Very informative and practical!
This audiobook is perfect for my parents who are aging and in need of changes in their exercise program! It touches on facts about how exercise affects your body, poses, benefits, and creating a daily routine for strengthening while keeping the body safe. I like the part where it suggests ways to develop good habits to maintain consistency in exercise. The narrator has a friendly tone that is good for seniors. I recommend this book for the targeted audience but we're all going to need this book one day!

Make the change to a healthier more active you
I have struggled with everyday tasks so this gently eases my way into doing more exercise. As the saying goes use it or lose it and I don't intend to lose it. This book is educational and has encouraged me to make some changes.

So easy to follow and very practical
I really enjoyed this Audiobook it was easy to listen to and follow, it gives good advice that you can implement immediately. I also enjoyed the narrator as she made me feel like she cared and wanted whats best for me which kept me very motivated to keep trying to get in better health.
