Great series only getting better !

I love both books! This second book was a lot better and am happy they cut out the robot voice for the skills, I would of still given it 5 stars but am happy all the same. Great characters and can’t wait to see what happens next!

great series

I love the world, characters and writing style. The performance is also great, one of my favorite narrators.

Tame for a cultivation XianXia

Characters are enjoyable enough but the whole world is too tame compared to regualar Xianxias. Too much grinding and not enough interesting fights against other cultivators. Almost boring but its good enough for me to continue since I don't have an alternative to listen to.

Narrator sucks. Story is great.

I really wish there was a better narrator. I've heard worse but this story could be so much better with a talented story teller.

Thanks for listening

So far so good thank you for changing the approach when announcing the skills it makes listening so much more enjoyable. so not a lot of tier advancement, which is a bit disappointing given the number of combat scenarios mc faced over a lengthy period of time. kinda feels stagnant.

Good but less

He really slammed on the breaks for this one. It is like the author went from planning a trilogy to a 20 book series. The MCs literally spent the entire book putting off growing stronger. There was still some good action, but I can easily see this series stalling out. I enjoyed the story, but if it is going to take thousands of years to become truly powerful, we’re going to need to cover a bit more ground per book.
Also, stop with the politics. I get it. You have a cause. But not everyone in the story has to have a different sexual orientation, or if they do, we don’t have to hear about it. It is overdone and distracting from a good story.
All together it is still a great book and hopefully a great series. The narration continues to be excellent. It is certainly worth the credit and I will pick up book three as soon as it drops.

Another amazing book in a series I love

Let me start by saying that while it was amazing and I love the series there is still room for improvement. So without spoiling anything I didn't really find the new temporary party member was half as interesting as other people they partied up with. That is probably my only complaint. It might turn out to have more meaning later in the series who knows? But as it stands I didn't feel like she added much to the group.
This was probably the most anticipated book of the year for me. I'm really happy that the quality of worldbuilding and character growth is continuing in this book. I really enjoyed how they had to deal with a harsh reality and make decisions most would want to avoid. The pace of the plot and action scenes as well as emotional moments where all top quality. Probably one of the best Cultivation series in the last few years.

Great book 2

First, as a few reviews before me have stated, thank you for listening to feedback. The naration was excellent.

This story did take place over a shorter period of time but was still enjoyable. Even if we miss characters from the last book, I'm sure they will be back. The only complaint I have is that book 3 isn't done yet.

Awesome Book 2

I thoroughly enjoyed the second installation of this series. I thought the narration was much better without the robotic emphasis of skills that made me laugh in the first book. Way to go!
