About this listen

An Epic Fantasy LitRPG Adventure

Resources? Zilch. Shelter? Ha. Monsters? Hungry, and closing in.

Joe the Ritualist fled Alfheim with the remnants of the Dwarven Oligarchy at his side. Though the hairy warriors number in the tens of thousands, they stand at the brink of extinction; and the new world they landed on isn’t pulling any punches. Jotunheim is a winter wonderland featuring a vast array of monsters: the least of which are hulking lizard-ape Hoardlings, and carnivorous penguins standing a dozen feet tall.

The world is massive, deadly, and empty: But all Joe sees is free real estate. Thanks to Specializing in magics that allow him to rapidly create buildings, the Ritualist starts carving out a defensible area for his allies. Dense walls, workshops that churn out weapons and armor, even magical edifices that rain death upon the swarming creatures. Being so new to the world, they mistakenly believe that expanding quickly equals safety.

But on the world of giants, ramping up production just means ringing a bigger dinner bell.

I really liked how irritated the book made me feel! Ik that sounds weird but I love when books can pull strong emotions out of me even if it was very irritating.

This was a good book!

The story will be extra funny to any online gamers. Some laughs in this book, but the series has loads of laughs.

the only problem is the books are too short. I really wish they were 15 or 16 hours minimum.
I love a bit more crunchy town building and stuff in every book. The series is a subscription for me. If you are not aware of this author and for whatever reason book 9 was suggested too you definitely go back and read the entire thing it's worth it.

love this series

Great story but it’s getting repetitive which I hate because love this series. Half of the book is nonsense not standing up for his self. Just disappointed because I usually can’t wait for a new book in this series to come out.

Just repeat

I really enjoy this series, but this book lost a step. I've grown accustomed to the character development, world building, and descriptions. Now, we're just converting monsters into aspects. Still, there was some character dev and dwarven treachery. I'm probably just not a fan of penguin hords. Still, I'm running to the next book.

Go Joe and the story that unfolded. Really holds your interest and the author does a wonderful job of keeping you captured in the story as it relates to the events in each story.

Excellent story and enjoyable experience throughout this series.
