About this listen

In this brief meditation with ambient music, Megan Monahan reminds you that while your mind is always preparing and rehearsing for future potential, at your core is the essential awareness of your always-grounded self.

Meditation teacher and author Megan Monahan is passionate about making meditation accessible and relatable. Her goal is to infuse a modern-day “realness” into the all-too-often esoteric landscape of meditation. Since learning to meditate in 2009 with Deepak Chopra and becoming a Chopra-certified instructor, she has taught thousands to meditate through her platform. She works with brands like Lululemon, Unplug Meditation, Netflix, Facebook, and Wanderlust and works with clients internationally, always bringing her spiritual real talk. Her first book, Don’t Hate, Meditate!, was published in 2019 by Ten Speed Press.

Guided by leading experts and personalities in wellness, morning meditations are brief listens focused specifically on helping you start your day on the right foot. They don’t require any previous experience - they're easy to get into and designed to help you take a moment each morning to simply check in with yourself.

This title is part of the Audible Sleep Collection, exclusive audio experiences created to help you fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up in the right morning mindset. New and free for members.

This was the most helpful meditation I have encountered in my many years of searching for one that worked for me. The guide is soothing yet informative, and the music is suitable for the topic.
